Automotive Tinting

Window tinting helps keep your car cool and protects interior surfaces. We’ll help you decide if window tinting is right for you, and which type to go with.

Today’s modern window tinting can reduce interior heat up to 60 percent, block up to 99 percent of ultraviolet radiation (UV) rays and filter 90 percent of the sun’s infrared radiation (IR).

Ceramic Coating

Long-lasting protection is the main reason car owners choose a ceramic coating over the other options. Essentially a hard shell, a ceramic coating will prevent water stains, road grime, bird droppings, and other substances from reaching and harming the paint. With a quick rinse, they’ll simply slide right off.

Paint Protection Film

Extends Service Life of Vehicle: Automotive value depreciates as years of wear and tear degrade a vehicle’s mechanical properties and appearance and shine. Paint protection films preserve the vehicle’s youth by effectively repelling debris, rocks, sand, and other impacts that cause incidental chips, scratches, and abrasions. Some films are even self-healing.

Which PPF is the best?

XPEL (the brand we use) is arguably the best on the market given its 10-year warranty and the market’s only transferable warranty. That means it adds value to your vehicle as the warranty carries onto the new owner of your vehicle when the time comes to sell it.

What are the top benefits of tinting my car windows?

There are numerous benefits to tinting your car windows but the most important benefits are regulating interior temperatures, preventing eye strain, minimizing fading of the interior, blocking UV radiation and increasing privacy.

Do you need paint correction before paint protection film?

PPF enhances the paint of your car as it is. Since a car is likely to have some uneven paint and minor scratches (even straight from the factory) it’s a good idea to do paint correction before PPF.

Can you install paint protection film yourself?

Technically yes. However, it takes a lot of time, patience, and attention to detail. If you want it done well without the headache of purchasing new film every time you make a mistake and the benefit of XPEL’s warranty only available by XPEL Certified Dealers like us, it’s best practice to have a professional install it.

Can paint protection film be removed?

Yes, it can! Distinct Automotive Appearance can do this for you, or you can try doing it yourself but be very careful because it can pull the clear coat off with the film if not properly removed.
